Adhija Jagan

I am Adhija Jagan. When I first embarked on the daunting journey of applying to universities, I was overwhelmed by the choices, deadlines and lengthy application process. It felt like it was an impossible task to secure a spot in medical school. However, the personalized guidance that I received helped me select fit universities according to my academic strengths and preferences. Additionally, I was introduced to the right resources and navigated through the various steps with ease, including writing the IELTS, the UCAT, my personal statement and sitting the mandatory interview which all played the pivotal role in the application process. Today, I am pursuing Medicine at the University of Buckingham in the UK and I am thankful for the invaluable support and guidance from Margaret throughout my college search and application journey

Brite Murenzi

My name is Brite Murenzi, a student of International Business at EU Business School, Spain. I needed to be sure I had chosen a school which would give me learning opportunity beyond academics. I engaged my school college counselor, Margaret at every stage of the college search and application journey and the rigour of the whole process was rewarded with finding my right-fit. I enjoy every bit of my experience in EU where I earned a leadership scholarship on entry and now a 30% scholarship as a school ambassador for recruiting students from Rwanda.

Abdihakim Mustafa

I am Abdihakim Mustafa pursuing a bachelor’s degree with honors in Computer Science at University of Nicosia, Cyprus (UNIC). My journey to university and scholarship award was no smooth ride but push from my college counselor, Mrs. Margaret Njuguna, and her team motivated me to enjoy every step of the challenge. I also needed financial aid. The counseling team imbued me with determination and unwavering focus to research universities and programs that aligned with my interest. I was guided to do all it takes to get a right fit – wrote personal statements, gathered strong letters of recommendation and ensured to excel in standardized tests and finally landed my right fit. I am both a foundation’s and university scholarship recipient. Securing scholarships not only provided me with the means to pursue higher education but also injected in me a belief that with passion, determination, resilience and hard work, any goal is attainable.

Adhija JaganSneha Nneji

I am Sneha Nneji. Securing a place in a highly reputed university like Carleton University, Canada would not have been a reality without proper guidance. Margaret motivated me to follow my dream and this landed me at Carleton and I am pursuing an honors bachelor’s degree in health science with concentration in biomedical science. I was awarded the health science entrance award scholarship and the dean of students list scholarship.

Bilha Murenzi

I am Bilha Murenzi, a student with remarkable college experience. As an IB Diploma student, I enjoyed the opportunity to explore and discover my strengths, passion and a wide range of career paths. Undoubtedly, my passion lay in urban planning and my counselor, Margaret, persuaded me to follow my heart. Being adventurous and one who cherishes the environment and how it can be molded without denying it God’s prescribed beauty, drove me to explore the experience of studying in different parts of the globe. This would also give me opportunity to make paramount decisions that would enhance environmental beauty and have lasting impact on the community. I enrolled into a 2+2 American degree program at INTI International university, Malaysia and I am now heading to Newcastle University in the UK which will enrich my experience further. I believe getting the right guidance is a motivation to better things.

Ayan

I am Ayan and this is my story. I graduated from one of the best high schools in Somaliland and even with my exemplary national exam performance, I realized I needed college counseling if I was to pursue my best-fit major at the university and in a college that aligns well with my interests. My college counselor, Margaret, engaged me in numerous career counseling sessions before I got connected with my fit university and secured two scholarships: one from the foundation that supported my high school education and from the university. I am pursuing a bachelor’s degree with honors in Computer Science at Taylor’s University, Malaysia, ranked the top private university in Malaysia and Southeast Asia and among the world’s top flight universities.

Tanisha Mohanthy

I am Tanisha Mohanthy. I study medicine (MBBS) at the university of Debrecen, Hungary. Debrecen is one of the oldest and globally recognized universities. The university has one of the most diverse student bodies in Hungary. University of Debrecen wasn’t my first choice; I had applied to many global study destinations for different health-related courses but I knew my passion lay in studying medicine. Universities around the world have diverse admission requirements for medical courses – some even demand that one starts with pre-med, and sit for exams such as UKCAT. This was muddling; not an easy process but my college counselor, Ms. Margaret provided me with all the support that I needed and my dream to study medicine was finally realized.
